Instructional Designer

Who we’re looking for:

We have an outstanding team of coaches and trainers who rock at servicing our clients, and our operations gurus ensure we do it seamlessly. We are seeking an experienced and passionate instructional designer and writer who can help us prepare for our engagements and serve our clients, translating what we learn during our discovery process into content, speaker notes, slide decks, course materials, and pre and post session communication. The right person may also be able to assist with our blogs and newsletters, and with product design. The perks of working with us are fantastic, we're big believers in work-life balance! You'll work mainly from home with a flexible schedule of about 15 hours per week (for now). You'll work with awesome clients around the world and have the chance to help us build and develop our organization. You are equal parts passionate, creative and organized. 

This role will require you to:

1.   Focus on design and content development:

  • Work with the programs lead and team members to develop learning objectives for individual engagements

  • Interface with the programs lead on content design

  • Design/customize worksheets, reference guides, posters and slide decks for training and development sessions

  • Develop and design online toolkits that enable our employee, manager and leader learners to apply tools and personal development following our sessions

  • Refine and customize our assets, design process and customization process as needed (working with our senior team members for guidance)

2.   Run the discovery process

  • Support the programs lead to engage with the client, produce discovery reports and support discovery calls and focus groups

  • Help define high-level client needs

  • Scope out the engagement in collaboration with your team members

  • Produce set of recommendations for the client and our programs team

  • Be an active participant in assessment debriefs

3.   Communicate

  • You’ll produce and approve content for pre and post session emails

  • Deliver content to clients that fosters learning, adoption and application in between session

  • Work with the entire team to ensure team sync and all relevant communication is shared

This position demands a design-loving rockstar with extensive experience working in a corporate and/or B2B environment. As our Graphic Designer, your role will include (but not be limited to):

  • Providing graphics support and effective design solutions for both internal and external clients, including slide decks, infographics, sell sheets, training materials, and more

  • Maintaining a consistent brand look and feel across our customer touch points while working to continue to evolve our designs in ways that are fresh, on brand and in trend

  • Working with the sales and marketing team to collaborate on presentations and collateral

  • Designing detailed and easy-to-use (and customize)learning materials for training and new client onboarding

  • Maintaining a style guide for consistency in branding across all materials and content

  • Developing and maintaining an organized, searchable and easily accessible archive for all artwork and supporting materials
