WHAT TO EXPECT FROM COACHING

Coaching is customized professional development that aims to improve performance in the immediate future.  The coach’s role is to offer creative activities and powerful questions to amplify and guide your employee’s  own discovery skills.

Think of coaching as professionally facilitated, self-guided enhancement.

They’ll come with a topic in mind that they’d like to focus on in the session or series of sessions. This can be free for them to choose, or you may offer guidance for what to focus on. The topic in a single session might be something they’re stuck on and want to overcome, it might be related to a challenging person or situation, or it might relate to a goal. The coach’s job is to hold their agenda and support them in a way that will help them move forward.

“As leaders, we invest our energy, our time, and our emotions into the teams that we are growing and the people that we are managing. I think that it’s equally important for us to invest in ourselves. Without investing in ourselves, we’re not being the best leaders that we can be for our teams and our companies.”
