BLOG: How to talk about Coronavirus - and other tough topics - at work

In order to effectively navigate - and even thrive in - uncertain times, we’ll all need to find ways to process what is happening, communicate with one another, and grow our personal and organizational resilience. People Piece Coach Alla Weinberg’s special blog explains the importance of making space for emotions during tough times and presents a clear, 3-step process for communicating around uncomfortable topics at work.

RESOURCE: Working from Home

For many US workers, the shift to working from home will be as challenging as it has been sudden. Yet companies will be relying on all team members to stay focused and productive during these unstable times. We like this piece from The Muse on steps you and your colleagues can take to maintain work life balance (i.e., not go nuts) and stay productive when your kitchen table has become your new office desk.

TOOLS & TRAINING: Remote Leadership, Management and Collaboration

Technology will help us work, train and learn remotely. But it won’t help us stay grounded, motivated, and feeling like a team in uncertain times. Our team has been all-remote since our inception in 2011. Learn how The People Piece is partnering with organizations across the US and Europe to help them develop and quickly deliver customized, effective remote communication, collaboration and management tools that equip leaders and teams to stay productive and be their best.

These times will bring challenges. We trust that our personal health and organizational well being reside in our continued willingness to stay connected, support each other, and adapt together.

Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, ideas or requests. We are here to support you, and wish you, your family and your colleagues health and safety.

Roni, Jess, Alla, Emily, Marina, Genna, Emily and the entire People Piece team
